Who we are
サンデー is operated by an independent publisher, who is the data controller for this site. Publisher contact details are on our Legal Notice page.

Data we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the service:
- Account: your name, email address, and an optional avatar and handle.
- Content: the products you submit, and the posts and comments you write.
- Activity: your votes, follows, and likes.
- Technical logs: IP address and browser information, used for security and rate limiting.
- Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number. We only keep a payment reference to link a payment to your submission.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you opt in.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- Running the service: showing your launches and posts, sending transactional emails, processing payments. Legal basis: our contract with you.
- Security and abuse prevention: rate limiting, blocking spam and vote manipulation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe.
- The newsletter: sent only if you explicitly opted in. Legal basis: your consent. Every letter has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers or profiling.
Who processes data for us
A few trusted services help us run サンデー. Each one only receives what it needs for its role:
- Vercel: hosting.
- Neon: database, EU region (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare: DNS, image storage and delivery.
- Upstash: rate limiting (Frankfurt).
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: transactional emails and the newsletter.
- Anthropic: only when you use the AI prefill button on the submit form. The page content of the URL you paste is sent for extraction. Nothing else is sent.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it. Read notifications are purged after 30 days.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- See the data we hold about you (access)
- Correct it (rectification)
- Delete it (erasure)
- Give you a copy you can take elsewhere (portability)
- Stop certain processing (objection)
Email contact@xn--vcktb7hnb.xyz and we will respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Cookies
サンデー sets one session cookie to keep you signed in. That is all. No third-party ad cookies, no tracking cookies.
Children
The service is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child is using the site, contact us and we will remove the account.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced by email or a notice on the site.
